The Florida Strong Families Tax Credit was created to support eligible charitable organizations that provide services focused on child welfare and well-being. Declare No More Foundation is incredibly grateful to be one of those organizations approved as a designated charity. Under this program, corporate taxpayers can make private monetary contributions to a designated charitable organization and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against the following Florida taxes:
- corporate income tax
- gas and oil production severance tax
- insurance premium tax
- use tax due under a direct pay permit
- certain excise taxes
A new allocation of $40 million has become available, with a deadline of January 4, 2027 to submit your application.
What does this mean for
you?
You can make a charitable donation to support vulnerable children and families through Declare No More, instead of sending taxes to the state.
$40 million will be available to corporations to apply for under the Strong Families Tax Credit beginning on January 4, 2027. The funds are allocated on a “first come, first served” basis and historically, the available funds are claimed very quickly (minutes/hours vs days/weeks). Please mark your calendars to reserve an allocation on behalf of Declare No More Foundation on January 4, 2027.
Please note: The allocation of Strong Families Tax Credits is highly competitive. The $40 million available is typically claimed within minutes. Early preparation and timely application are essential to securing your allocation. Declare No More staff will be available that morning to assist you or your team in any way possible as you submit your application.
